Web Developer or Web Designer?

Buying a website can be a confusing and costly business. So where do you start? Often in our experience a web developer will build your site. It will contain all the functionality you need. A clever logo, some moving images, a contact page and an enquiry form. Technically it is brilliant, but was it built or designed?

The Web Designer

The designer differs from the developer in several ways. Design is about communication, talking with you the client, asking what you want from your website. How do you want it to feel, how can it portray your corporate identity. Maybe this is an opportunity to look at the company's image and make some changes. As designers we want to build a relationship with you our client and we won't disappear once the website is finished.
